KMailAssistant proposes addressing the issue of the increasing number of e-mails in businesses and consolidating the information they contain. Distributed as an addin for Outlook, KMailAssistant allows in particular to gather and save e-mails linked to one common subject in a joint electronic document library in order to make the set of conversations available to all the people concerned. It also allows to assign e-mails to collaborators and to share e-mail templates within a team. The information contained in the e-mails is then extracted from the collaborators mailbox, which constitutes a true value sometimes mandatory in certain sectors such as legal circles. The allocation features allow for a better follow-up of request made via e-mail and reduce mail copies and follow-ups.
